About Us

Consera, Inc was founded in February 2010 as a management consultancy with a new approach to delivering and pricing consulting services in four primary practice areas: Procurement, Customer Service, Information Technology and Operations /Supply Chain.

Consera's approach, the "Consera Way", is a "complete full cycle delivery system" of 4 stages – Analysis, Recommendation, Execution, Sustainability in which Consera executives not only perform diagnostic analysis and offer recommendations, but can also team up with the client’s management team to help drive successful execution and sustainability of ongoing results.

Traditional management consultants do the first three stages but the Consera Way adds the sustainability stage to provide your executives with experienced implementation support to ensure your goals are achieved and sustained.

Consera is a senior team of proven executives experienced in the company’s practice areas. They have a variety of styles and backgrounds but all have reputations for agility, focus and flawless execution. Mike Tabatabai

     Chairman & CEO

Mike Tabatabai is Chairman and CEO of Consera, Inc. He founded the company in February 2010 as a management consultancy with a new approach to delivering and pricing consulting services in three primary practice areas: Procurement, Customer Service, Operations including Supply Chain.

Throughout his career, Tabatabai has been committed to bringing together the power of people's minds, along with process and information technology to produce positive and measurable results in their environment.

Prior to launching Consera, Inc., Tabatabai, a 28-year veteran of the Software Industry, joined Autodesk in 1993, where as Vice President of Worldwide Operations and Customer Care, he successfully managed and expanded Global Operations, Customer Service, Procurement (both direct and indirect) and Program Management. After leaving Autodesk in 2005, he founded Arezou, Inc., where he provided consultancy services to high-tech and retail industries. Prior positions included Vice President of Worldwide Operations at WordStar, managing Operations and Information Technology , Senior Director of Operations at Ashton-Tate, a data base software publishing company for seven years, Production Manager at Mag Software, a startup company that designed and published database applications.

Tabatabai is an Electronics Engineer and received a Bachelor of Science from Northrop University in 1976 and a Masters of Science: Business Management from the same University in 1978.

 


Rayvon Williams

     V.P. of Sales

Rayvon Williams serves as Consera's Vice President of Sales, joining the company in February of 2011. Williams brings over 20 years of sales and marketing experience within the high-tech enterprise space and across multiple customer segments. As Vice President of Sales, Williams is a member of the company's executive committee. 

Prior to joining Consera Incorporated, Williams served in a sales operations role with Hewlett Packard's Enterprise Software Group. In this position he successfully managed sales enablement, compensation, resource allocation, business planning, and customer relations. Williams has held various Vice President and Director level sales management positions with Hewlett Packard, Compaq and Tandem Computers.  

Williams' sales credentials and success include numerous corporate awards, serving as Tandem's Director of Investor Relations, selling the initial global OEM contract of Tandem's Serverware, leading Compaq's North American NonStop sales and Hewlett Packard's move to an Intel based platform for NonStop. 

Williams completed his undergraduate studies in Communications at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and his graduate studies in Business Administration at Webster University, and Organizational Systems Management at Embry Riddle University.

 


Valentine Garcia, Jr

     Chief Operating Officer

Valentine Garcia brings over 25 years of Operations experience in the high-tech industry to Consera Inc. As COO, Garcia is a member of the company’s executive committee.  

Before joining Consera Inc. Garcia was Sr. Director of Worldwide Procurement at Autodesk Incorporated. Autodesk is a provider of design software for multiple industries including Architectural and Movie Special Effects. Prior to Autodesk Inc. Garcia was VP of Operations at Maxis Inc. a provider of entertainment software namely SimCity and SimCity II. Although not a founder, Garcia helped Maxis grow from a small entrepreneurial organization to a successful publically owned global company.  

Prior to Maxis Inc, Garcia has held various executive positions in both Operations and Research & Development organizations. Garcia has been a founder in a start-up company as well as participating in existing companies where he was able to re-direct the inertia toward successful endeavors. It is in these companies that Garcia has honed his ability to identify opportunities where technology can help solve business challenges.  

Garcia has studied Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara and San Jose State Universities. He has also been a member of various Procurement Boards and Advisory committees.

 


Bob Kitiuk

     Chief Information Officer

Bob Kitiuk brings over 25 years of professional IT management to Consera Incorporated. As CIO, Kitiuk is a member of the company’s executive committee.  

Kitiuk comes to Consera Incorporated from Blue Coat Systems where as Enterprise Data Steward he was able to demonstrate his specialized skills in data quality to solve today’s problems as well as establish a long term strategic direction.  

Prior Blue Coat Systems, Kitiuk held several key IT positions at Autodesk Incorporated. In these positions he was able to demonstrate his specialized abilities in manufacturing, operations and data quality. Positions such as Application Development Manager, Solution /Enterprise Architect and SAP Global implementation Specialist allowed Kitiuk to prove his “Consultative Approach to Solving Technical Problems”.  

Kitiuk’s approach has resulted in multiple corporate wins including: increasing order fulfillment capacity by 600%, decreasing system down time from 72 to 2 hours, increasing transaction processing efficiency by 500%, decreasing customer duplicates from 12% to 1%.  

Kitiuk earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University. Additionally, Kitiuk has contributed to several “SAP; How To” Publications.

 


Mehrdad Saalabi

     V.P. Supply Chain

Mehrdad Saalabi brings over 20 years of experience, primarily in the high-tech industry, in Supply Chain Management. As V.P. Supply Chain, Saalabi is a member of the company’s executive committee.  

Before joining Consera Incorporated, Saalabi was General Manager of Autodesk’s Americas Manufacturing Operations. In this position he successfully managed the procurement, manufacturing, business planning, and logistics. Saalabi reduced shipping cost threefold, established same day shipping, and reduced inventory exposure by weeks.  

Prior to Autodesk. Saalabi held similar positions at WordStar International and Ashton-Tate where he instrumental in multiple process improvements as well setting up similar facilities in Puerto Rico and Ireland.  

Saalabi did his undergraduate studies in Electrical Engineering at UCLA and his graduate studies in Applied Mathematics at USC.

 


James Tay Chin Kwang

     Board Member & Advisor

James Tay brings over 25 over years of operations and management experience across varying industries with broad regional experience throughout the Asia Pacific region to Consera Incorporated. As Board Member and Advisor, he also acts as Consulting Partner APAC Operations, Tay is responsible for all APAC activities including business development and day to day operations.  

Tay is currently a Director at National University of Singapore (NUS) Enterprise/ Extension, where he manages the university’s continuing education arm. Previously Tay was the Executive Director of KR Consulting which is a fully owned subsidiary of NUS Technology Holdings. Additionally Tay is one of the founding Partner of Anacle Systems Pte Ltd, an enterprise management software solution company. He currently sits on the NUS Investment Committee which overseas the investment in companies by NUS ETP and also a member of the review panel appointed by NUS that manages the NUS Micro Funding Scheme supported by MDA. Until recently he was a Director on the Board of Genometri Pte Ltd a 3D-Design Software Company that NUS Technology Holdings has investments in and served for a term as a Director of the Business Angel Network Southeast Asia.  

Prior to joining NUS, Tay had his own consulting business and has held various senior management positions such as Director of Raffles Education Corporation / Hartford Education Corporation, Group Managing Director/CEO of Markono Holdings, Director/General Manager of Commerce One Inc, and Managing Director - Asia Pacific Operations of Autodesk Asia.  

Tay holds a Bachelor of Management (Hon.) degree from IMC, UK and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National University of Singapore. Tay participates in several professional organizations including being a certified / graduate member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply.
